andrew_b_collins Thanks for the atmospheric soundtracks. Keeps me in the liminal realms of Aveline's Hole in readiness for the death journey to the next world (metaphorically speaking). Keep me updated on future projects. Favorite track: Aveline's Hole.

about

Ambient / dark ambient soundscapes exploring the Mesolithic period in Europe.

Track 1 is based on the cemetary found in Aveline's Hole, a cave in the Mendip Hills in Somerset.

Track 2 is based on the idea of the primeval forest which once stretched across the European Plain. This forest is still visible in Poland, where it is under threat from logging.

Artwork based on photo by Lennart Larson of grave 8 from the excavations of a Mesolithic cemetary at Vedbaek, Denmark. The grave contained two skeletons, an 18 year old female, and a new born baby seemingly buried on the wing of a swan.
